Douglas Soltys

Douglas Soltys is the Editor-in-Chief of BetaKit. His careers and interests are somewhere in the middle of mobile technology and new/social media. After working at Blackberry in the software developtment department, Douglas started his own media company, which produced two industry recognized blogs: BlackBerry Cool (the longest running BlackBerry news blog) and QuicklyBored (initially a mobile gaming industry blog). Three years later, Douglas started with at RIM, where he was responsible for starting and building a blogging program. While at RIM, he worked on foursquare and other social apps.
