Woo wants to change the rules - Loonie Politics

This past week, Senator Yuen Pau Woo, leader of the Independent Senators Group, moved a motion in the Senate to start changing the rules to accomplish what he terms to be “equality between groups.”  With the changes to the Parliament of Canada Act still a fair way off (without which, Woo gets no additional compensation for being the leader of a caucus), Woo’s plans to diminish the role of the opposition in the Senate are moving ahead . . .
