Scott Barlow

Scott Barlow is The Globe’s in-house market strategist. He is a more than 20-year veteran of Canadian investment banks, including Merrill Lynch Canada, CIBC Wood Gundy, and Macquarie Private Wealth (MPW). Mr. Barlow was a highly ranked mutual fund analyst for 10 years and then, most recently, the head of a financial adviser support team at MPW.

Jennifer Dowty

Jennifer Dowty is the Globe and Mail's in-house equities analyst. Prior to that, she worked in the investment industry for approximately 18 years, with nearly 14 of those years at Manulife Asset Management. At Manulife, Ms. Dowty started as a trading assistant and worked her way up through the company to become an equities portfolio manager. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA charterholder.

Rob Carrick

Frequent writer for the Globe and Mail, author of the blog The Reader, and several books including How Not to Move Back in With Your Parents: A Young Person's Guide to Financial Empowerment. Rob Carrick is the recipient of multiple jouranlist awards including SABEW and Canadian Publishing Associaton Awards.

Gordon Pape

Gordon Pape is a Canadian author, columnist, and investor. He has written more than 20 books on a variety of themes, including novels, personal finance guides, and Christmas trivia
