Peter Tertzakian is Chief Energy Economist and Managing Director at ARC Financial Corp., Canada’s leading energy focused private equity firm. Peter has an undergraduate degree in Geophysics from the University of Alberta, a graduate degree in Econometrics from the University of Southampton UK, and a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. In addition to his principal role at ARC Financial, he is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Calgary and has lectured at many leading universities and conferences around the world.

Jackie Forrest is Vice President of Energy Research at ARC Financial Corp. At ARC, Jackie is responsible for actively monitoring emerging strategic trends related to Canadian oil and gas. With 20 years of experience in the energy industry, she is a sought after speaker at industry conferences and is frequently quoted in the press. She has written numerous blogs and columns on energy issues. She published a paper that outlines the ARC method for analyzing climate change risks when investing in crude oil, titled “Crude Oil Investing in a Carbon Constrained World”. Prior to joining ARC, she was the leader of North American crude oil research for IHS CERA. Among her many roles, Jackie has been an active facilitator in the debate surrounding Canada’s future oil sands development, and has published more than 15 public papers on topics critical to oil sands development, including five papers on life cycle GHG emission from crude oil.
